Dom won the prestigeous Australian Geographic Anzang Wilderness Landscape Photographer for 2012.
Dom is an international award wining photographer, being recognised for his work both above and below the water. He has been recognised and published in the prestigious CSIRO Australasian nature Photographer of the year awards for the last four years, and a finalist in the Veolia BBC World Wildlife Photographer of the year awards in the last 2 years.Dom’s work can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.
Dom is a First Generation Aussie of English heritage, being born in Canberra but growing up and schooled in Sydney. A geologist by training Dom started his career working initially on the nickel and gold fields of Western Australia and finishing up in the wilds of Western China. Doms work in the exploration and mining industry is reflected in his passion for grand vistas, big skies and structure.
Dom runs a boutique fine art studio in his home town of Mollymook. A passion for exploring and experiencing the unknown sees him venture with his cameras underwater, and to the poles every year.
